This set of preferences allows you to define the options enabled when viewing folders. These preferences are as follows:

Note:    The following list includes all possible options, however, not all options may be enabled/visible in the application you are using.

Note:    Once you have defined your preferences, you must click the Apply button to save your changes and apply these to the application.



Enable running filter + template

This option allows you to run ad hoc reports by matching up a standalone filter and standalone template. The application you are working in must support standalone report elements to have this preference enabled.

When checked, the ability to match up and run a standalone filter object with a standalone template is enabled and will appear at the top of the folder contents. If not checked, the ad hoc reporting option is not enabled and will not be included in the folder view.
